JEF SCOTT, guitarist and vocalist, had fronted various L.A. area bands during the 80’s, most notably his own Jef Scott Group. At the beginning of the ’90s he was the leader of the band THE MEN, which released an album on a major label and spot a minor hit single. Jef Scott wrote plenty of songs during the early 80s together with Tony Kaye (Yes) until he could score a deal with Epic Records. “Ten Stories” got released in 1986 and it seems that there were only promotional copies pressed, cause all available vinyl copies had a promo sticker. What a pity, cause this was a really good radio friendly AOR album in the vein of Jimmy Davis meets Tom DeLuca with great guest musicians like Jay Schellen and Bryan Hitt.
